Issues I wanted to raise up: Test the launcher with regular HDD or bad one of those. The UI froze a bit annoyingly at start. The Launch Account and Unlink Account are a bit close. Could the Unlink be in context menu or something. If there is only one account, there is still the Unlink option. Checkbox for multilaunch is not very visually clear. "Web GUI" should probably be something else.. Like "Accounts" There is 2 different windows and places for nearly same settings. Can't do other stuff with launcher while shared cache tool is open Had 2 accounts logged in, changed server from TQ to Sisi (showed requiring account to login) and then back to TQ, only the account I logged in last was showing (didn't click remember ,me on login) Other ideas: In future, could we get thumbnails of the characters in the accounts and could we start a client as that character. Those characters that have their client running (other char on account) would be grayed out. When clicking the running account on "Web GUI" page, could it focus that client (is this possible in windows?) Show similar info than on running processes page, on WEb GUI I'll add another comment if I find more things.

It doesn't appear to touch the old settings, so you can test the new launcher still. Also you can manually copy old settings the new folders to play around with those too.

Not the Shared Cache, I mean the AppData folders. I see. Why won't you move whole home folder for that matter? Also you can use symlinks to get data to different location.

If I Click "Stop Process" the eve client doesn't close but ask if I really want to quit. Hard to notice if it's in the background. Could a bigger preview of the client be shown with that question on the launcher? ("Are you sure you want to close this client?") EDIT: added another point

Currently when user account or password is wrong it will ask you about your character with message "You haven't logged in from this IP before". This is a bit misleading as sometimes I'm actually logging from different IP and need to answer for that question. Instead it should tell something like "username or password is wrong".

EDIT: now it nicely tells me that my authentication token is expired. EDIT2: and now some one fixed the login. can debug the error state anymore :D (ps. I have no idea how you do this: Authentication token is expired, I logout, login with one account and can launch game for both accounts... this is magic (I have no idea how the token is authorized for the second account or it didn't ever expire...))

The new binaries are downloaded to same cache folder. If you moved that using cache tool from E-menu, the binaries should be moved too. And as it uses totally new binaries you can remove the official installation (if you want to do that). ps. it only downloads updates to those extra servers only if you visit the servers page :D (which you did to see that those are downloaded :P ). Good thing that CCP appears to have options for those in development version. Although those servers shouldn't take much disk space (few tens of megabytes I presume).

Interestingly though I haven't run any eve stuff as administrator (except the launcher installation to get it under program files). Also the SharedCache permissions seems to be correct. There was one time that the launcher update required admin permissions. Could that have left the launcher with admin privileges and thus updating some files with wrong permissions? Edit: fixed the problem by removing the tq and sisi folders.

You can do that from the same window you can add and copy profiles (profile menu - settings). Just select TQ from both dropdowns and drag your main profile to -¦right side again. It will ask to rename it. ps. very nicely done that settings management window. Maybe not the easiest to get into, but once you do, it's very handy and powerful. :)
